Dear Colleagues,
Our colleagues in the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education (OESE) recently published a notice inviting applications for $1.5 million in grants to State educational agencies to support projects that will provide students expanded options to participate in a career pathway program, outside regular school hours, that leads to a recognized postsecondary credential, such as an industry recognized certification or a certification of completion of an apprenticeship in an in demand industry sector or occupation. Applications are due September 21, 2020.
OESE also is seeking peer reviewers with expertise in career and technical education to assess and score the applications. Please see OESE’s call for reviewers and the application for peer reviewers.
I encourage you to share this information within your networks so that OESE is able to recruit the expert reviewers it needs.
Thank you for your consideration.
Best –
Sharon Lee Miller
Director, Division of Academic and Technical Education
