Dear Colleagues,

Reporting season for the Consolidated Annual Report (CAR) for program year 2021-2022 under Perkins V is quickly approaching.  For this report, States will provide the following:

• Narrative information, including improvement plans if a State fails to meet at least 90 percent of a State-determined level of performance for any of the core indicators for all CTE concentrators
• Financial Status Reports (FSRs)
• Enrollment data for participants and concentrators
• Performance data for concentrators

The program year 2021-2022 CAR reporting window will open on November 1, 2022. CAR submissions are due by close of business on January 31, 2023.

To help States prepare for the upcoming CAR submission, DATE will hold three CAR training webinars as follows:

• Submitting the Consolidated Annual Report (CAR): October 20, 2022, 2:00-3:30 pm ET
• CAR Portal Training - Session #1: October 26, 2022, 2:00-3:00pm ET
• CAR Portal Training – Session #2: October 27, 2022, 11:00-12:00pm ET (this is a repeat of the session held on October 26, 2022)
