Dear Colleagues —

We are pleased to notify you that today, June 22, 2015, President Obama signed an Executive Order to establish a U.S. Presidential Scholars in Career and Technical Education Program. This Executive Order will enable the Presidential Commission to choose up to 20 students each year to be selected on the basis of outstanding scholarship and demonstrated ability and accomplishment in career and technical education. The Executive Order can be read here (PDF, 8 KB).

We will provide you with further details on this initiative as plans unfold!
