Happy new year! We are pleased to let you know that this past Saturday, July 1, 2017, our office issued each State's first installment of Title I funds for Fiscal Year (FY) 2017-18 pursuant to the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act of 2006. At that time, we also made each State's Grant Award Notification (GAN) document electronically available at http://www.g5.gov under the Grant Maintenance/Award Documents menu selection. If you had or continue to have any issues in accessing G5 or your GAN document, please call the G5 Help Desk at 888-336-8930.

Then, this past Monday, July 3, our office sent via email each State's grant award letter and Final Agreed Upon Performance Levels (FAUPL) form. If you did not receive this email or have any questions about these documents, please contact Edward Smith at Edward.Smith@ed.gov or 202-245-7602. We also sent these documents via hard copy; you should receive them this week.

On behalf of the entire Division of Academic and Technical Education (DATE), thank you for your thoughtful and thorough work in compiling and submitting your State plan revisions, budgets, and performance levels for the upcoming year eleven. We look forward our continuing working with you to prepare all students with the academic and technical skills needed for a successful future.
