Deadline for Federal Register Notice of Proposed Priorities for the Perkins Innovation and Moderization (I&M) Grant Program

The purpose of the Perkins Innovation and Modernization (I& M) Grant Program is to identify, support, and rigorously evaluate evidence-based and innovative strategies and activities to improve and modernize CTE, and to ensure workforce skills taught in CTE programs funded under the Perkins Act align with labor market needs. The program’s first competition for new awards occurred during 2019 and resulted in nine grant awards. In this Notice of Proposed Priorities (NPP), the Department is proposing priorities, requirements, definition, and selection criteria in anticipation of future grant competitions.
